Terrence E. “Terry” Dunn, 69, of Medway, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 following a courageous battle with glioblastoma, a brain cancer.
Born in Schenectady, NY, on March 7, 1947, he was the son of the late John F. and Charlotte A. (Horstman) Dunn.
Terry was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Casella) Dunn, formerly of Watertown. He was the devoted and loving father of Brett A. Dunn and his wife Jessica (Slocum) of Medway, Melanie C. Nute and her husband Christopher of Upton, Tara L. Brauninger and her husband David of Uxbridge and proud loving "Papa" of Thomas and Charlotte Dunn and Patrick and Benjamin Brauninger.
He is also survived by a brother, Allen G. Dunn of Schenectady, NY and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and an adoring pug, Mollie.
Terry was a resident of Medway for the past 39 years and was a graduate of Boston University.
He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a manufacturer’s sales rep in the homewares industry for many years.
Terry was always a New England sports fan and was an avid stamp collector.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Wednesday, March 30 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
