CHARLES ALVIN “LITTLE CHARLIE” HOLLOWAY, II, age 62, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven, MS. He was born July 11, 1953 in Champagne, IL to Charles A., Sr. and Genora Swearengen Holloway who moved to Water Valley, MS shortly after his birth.
Little Charlie was raised in Water Valley where he graduated high school. He attended Northwest MS Community College, then worked as a machinist for Borg-Warner until he retired. Little Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and going camping. He dearly loved his family and friends.
A private graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Bro. Freddie Moorman officiating. Little Charlie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Chris Hughes Holloway of Southaven, MS; his son, Thomas Holloway of Southaven, MS; his brother, Steve Holloway of Water Valley, MS; and his parents, Charles A. and Genora Holloway of Water Valley, MS.
