Curry, Cornelius “Neil”, 89, passed away March 26, 2016 in Louisville.
He was born to Jesse and Violet (Sample) Curry.
Neil was a Cabinet Maker for Kitchen Compac where he retired from, a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII, he was a Baptist by faith, and loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. Neil also played for the Baltimore Orioles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife: Doris June (Brown) Curry.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: James Brown, Tammy Hatfield (Greg), Beverly Haynes (Billy), Todd (Robin), and Wayne (Laura) Curry; Nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; an Aunt: Pauline Ashby; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 12:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday 2:00-8:00PM.
