Obituary

Suzanne “Sue” Daylor age 62 of Carver formerly of Plymouth and Brockton, died Friday March 25th, 2016 at the Beth Israel Hospital, Plymouth with her family at her side. Sue was born and raised in Brockton; a daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis (Leggett) Daylor. For over 20 years she had lived in the Carver/Plymouth area.
A 1971 graduate of Brockton High School, Sue was a member of the swimming and diving team and her High School reunion committee. She had also been a lifeguard at the Eastside pool and won several awards in the city.
For over 28 years Sue had been a sales specialist at the O.C. Tanner Company in Plymouth. In her free time Sue enjoyed ceramics, painting, and attending live concerts. She also was an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
Sue will be remembered as one of the most kind and thoughtful best friend to everyone and an amazing mother to her daughter Danielle. She loved family gatherings and meeting up with old friends and reminiscing about the great times she had in Brockton; but most importantly time spent with her daughter.
In addition to her daughter Danielle Daylor of Brockton, Sue leaves her brothers and sisters Kathy Tapp of Clovis, CA; Maureen Daylor of Guilford, VT; Phyllis Doucette of Nova Scotia, Canada; Joni Kirby of Melbourne, FL; Barbara Thomas and Brian Daylor both of St. Germain, WI and the late James Daylor. She was also the step sister of Robert Sperry of Plymouth and Karen Ewing of Florida and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Tuesday 5-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 am.
