Isabelle M. Forrest, 84, of Londonderry, NH passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born on February 26, 1932 in Boston, MA a daughter of the late Arthur Brothers and Cecelia (Dalton) Hines. Mrs. Forrest was a devoted Marine Corp wife supporting her husband through 27 years of military service. Her greatest joy was her family especially all her grandchildren including all those “grandchildren” in the neighborhood.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, George Forrest of Londonderry, her five children, Myles Forrest and his partner Mary Morgan of Londonderry, Carleen Forrest-Keefer and her husband Joe Keefer of Ohio, Danny Forrest, Lisa Josephs and husband Timothy, and Mandie Connors-Cassen and husband Scott Cassen, all of Londonderry, 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two brothers, Lenny Brothers and his late wife Joan and Bud Brothers and his wife Cathy, all of Tewksbury, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was sadly predeceased by three of her daughters, Marianne Forrest in 1979 and Patricia Lynch and Kathy Sweet in 2006.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, March 30th at 10:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial followed in the Cemetery on the Hill, Windham. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
