NORTH WATERBORO- Della Mae Ridley, age 90, passed away on March 25, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on Nov. 30, 1925, a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Kadas.
Della proudly served in the US Navy from 1949 – 1953 at the Naval Photographic Center outside of Washington, DC.
Della is a USM graduate and worked as a secretary throughout her life for companies such as Dufresne & Henry Engineering.
She will always be remembered for her love of sewing and playing the piano. Della applied her gift of music by playing piano for the Windham Theatre Group.
She is predeceased by her husband- Robert E. Ridley; son- Kurt Ridley; and all her siblings- Ellen McGee, Chuck Kadas, and Dorothy Merrill.
She is survived by her son- Scott Ridley of North Waterboro.
Services will be private.
