WESTPORT – Kyle J. Pontes, age 29 of Westport, entered into rest on March 24, 2016. He was the beloved son of Jose R. and Sandra A. (Margarida) Pontes. Kyle loved listening to music and dancing. He was a good natured individual who would go out of his way to help anyone.
In addition to his parents of Westport, he is survived by his brother Jamie Pontes (wife Sandra) of Swansea, his paternal grandmother Matilde (Pavao) Pontes, his nephews Jake & Jared whom he loved and cherished, his aunts Lorraine Desjardins, Patricia Baldwin, & Elaine Benevides, his uncles Daniel & Fernando Pontes, and many cousins. He was the grandson of the late Daniel R. Pontes, Everett & Angelina (Arruda) Margarida.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, March 30th at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Main Rd. at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Tuesday 5-8 P.M.
