Obituary

Thomas R. Danley, 64, of Tiverton died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, March 24, 2016. He was the husband of Laurie E. (Collins) Danley.
Born in Port Jervis, NY, son of the late Richard W. and Florence E. (Nitche) Danley, he had lived in Tiverton for the last 29 years. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Navy. Prior to retirement in 2009, he was a mechanic for Sullivan Tire in Fall River. He loved working in his yard, using his lawnmower and front loader. Mr. Danley loved his kids and enjoyed spending time with his family and animals, especially his pet macaw named Harley.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: Sean T. Danley and his wife Dawn of Tiverton and Steven R. Danley and his wife Tara of Seekonk; a brother: Charles Danley of WV; 3 grandchildren: Ethan T. Danley, Scott I. Danley and Kira M. Danley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Katherine Danley.
Arrangements will be private.
