Auburn– Everett J. Harriman, 82, died March 23, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Biddeford ME. on July 26, 1933 the son of Leon F. and Emma (O’Neill) Harriman.
He graduated from St. Louis High School in Biddeford, ME. Class of 1951, and earned his Masters degree from the University of Maine, Orono.
He was a chemical engineer in the paper industry in Georgia, California and Maine.
He was a member of the Auburn Historical Association, and a former parishioner of St. Pius X Church.
Family members include one son, Scott Harriman and his wife, Victoria of Clifton, AZ., one daughter, Sandra (Harriman) Rowley of Virginia Beach, VA., five grandchildren, Greg, Nicole, Jason, Michelle, Salene, five great grandchildren, one brother, Peter Harriman of Citrus Springs, FL., and two sisters, Mary Ann Manning of Maryland, Doris Brooks of Maine, and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including his cousin, Jacqueline Galvin.
He was predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters, Theresa Child, Robert Harriman, Laurette Elie, Madeline Beaudoin, Sarah Pollock.
Calling hours will take place on April 28, 2016 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 PM.
Committal prayers will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Biddeford.
