Arnold "Lil Arnold" Ikeda, Jr., 37, of Ventura was tragically taken from us on March 20, 2016.
Arnold was born on July 18, 1978. He graduated from Ventura High School in 1996.
Arnold was a man of many trades. He was born with a gift to fix anything! No matter how busy, Arnold always made time to help everyone. You would often find him fixing brakes, doing oil changes, or perhaps a whole home remodel. With his keen attention to detail, you could trust in Arnold’s ability to deliver perfection.
Arnold took pride in ownership. If he wasn’t busy helping someone, you could find Arnold cruising in his meticulously clean car, wearing clean shoes, cologne, a baseball hat and listening to old school music (especially “Hold You Tight” by Tara Kemp). With his tall stature, beautiful round green eyes, infectious smile, and never-ending jokes, Arnold always left a lasting impression.

Arnold is survived by his daughter, Ameris Ikeda (mother, Yvonne Duran); father, Arnold Ikeda, Sr.; mother, Sheila Ikeda; brother, Daniel Ikeda (Alina); sister, Natasha Ikeda; maternal grandmother, Glenda Stephens; paternal grandparents, Leo and Esther Teran; nephews, Anthony, Nathan, Caden, Weston and Easton Ikeda; his closest cousin, Lil Jimmy Ikeda; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Arnold is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Stephens; aunt, Darla Magdaleno; and uncle, Jimmy Ikeda, Sr.
Visiting hours will be held on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura, 93001.
Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 9:00 am at The River Community Church located at 889 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA 93001. Burial services to follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park 5400 Valentine Rd, Ventura, 93003.
