SARASOTA – Leo J. Flynn, age 88 of Venice, FL, passed away on March 19, 2016 at the ManorCare Health Service Facility, Sarasota, FL. He was the beloved husband of Ruth M. (Maziarski) Flynn and the son of the late James H. & Jane (Smith) Flynn. Prior to retiring, Leo worked for Hascon Inc. as their Chief Financial Officer. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II, a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Leo attended Wentworth Institute and graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Nancy Jacob (husband Jules) of Yardly, PA, Clifford P. Flynn (wife Diana) of Newport, RI, & Robert L. Flynn (wife Lynn) of Somerset, MA; grandchildren: Michael & Kimberly Flynn both of GA, Annie-Laurie Jacob of RI; siblings: Madeline Tozloski of Ashland, MA, Harold Flynn of Camden, SC, Eileen Griggs of Gastonia, NC; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth, James, Roy, Robert, Charles, & Earle Flynn, Dorothy Cargill.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday, March 28, 2016 with visitation from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church, Hanover St. at 10:00 A.M.
