Devoted father of Maureen Gardiner, Teresa Gardiner, and Julie Gardiner all of San Diego, CA; Edward Gardiner of Norwood, John Gardiner of Jackson, WY; and Ann Stephens and her husband Kent of Dedham. Grandfather of Erin, Julia, Seth, Eamonn, Amelia, and Cassidy. Brother of Robert Gardiner of Dedham, Peter Gardiner of Quincy, Lyla O’Connor of East Dennis and the late Vincent Gardiner formerly of Weymouth, Kieran Gardiner, Sr. Frances Gardiner, Tesha Gardiner and Christina Oxley of Ireland.
Eddie was a member of the County Mayo Ireland Assoc., Norwood Irish Music Club, Boston Irish Music Club, Irish Social Club of West Roxbury, Irish Cultural Center, Irish Pastoral Center.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday, March 29 at 8:00am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home, Monday, March 28 from 4:00-8:00pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
