Francisca Lopes (102) of Brockton died in her home March 23rd ,surrounded by her family under hospice care.
She was born in Figueira Grande, Brava, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Thomas and Ana (Monteiro) Lopes and was a resident of Brockton the past 20 years coming from Cape Verde. She was a communicant of St. Edith Stein parish and was a happy and full of life person with her family and friends. She had a strong spiritual faith.
She was the mother of the late Maria Pinto Darosa, Grandmother of Joao Darosa, Maria Darosa Jordan, Ana Darosa and Nilton Darosa all of Brockton, Jose and Antonio Darosa both of Cabo Verde, Great Grand mother of Anthony, Anayah, Julius, Naalah, Noah , Seriah and Joao Jr..
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Thursday March 31st at 8AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Wed. March 30th from 5-9PM.
