Paul P. Gauthier of Somerville died on Tuesday, March 22. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Wilfred Sr. and Rita (Malenson) Gauthier. Paul was an accountant, owning and operating RNG Associates Inc. in Somerville.
He was the beloved husband of Mary-Ann Rapoza, and the devoted father of Robert Dernier of Worcester, Elizabeth Kirkland of Dedham, Jacqueline Avery of Cambridge, Joy Phoenix and her significant other Daniel Shea III of Gardner, and Melissa Medeiros of Everett. Paul was the loving grandfather of Crystal, Edward, Shane, Xavier, Victoria and Paulo, and the cherished brother of Jean Zandwich and her husband Alan of Cocoa Beach, FL, Wilfred Gauthier Jr. and his wife Mary of Dracut, Rita Worthington and her husband James of East Bridgewater, and the late Raymond Gauthier. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
