Carolyn A. Roberts, 82 of Windham, NH passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Roberts was born in Somerville, MA on November 22, 1933, daughter of the late Edward L. and Bertha (Martell) Baro. She was a graduate of Somerville High School and later retired from 3M Corp. in Cambridge, MA where she worked for 22 years. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, dancing and was a huge Red Sox fan.
She is survived by five children; William A. Roberts, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Biddeford, ME; David B. Roberts and his wife, Nancy, of Marion, NY; and Edward J. Roberts and his husband, Mark, of Haverhill, MA; Cheryl A. Lamy and her husband, Paul, of Candia, NH; and Karen L. Roberts-St. Cyr and her husband, Christopher, of Windham. She also was a proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Martin.
Following cremation, friends called on Saturday March 26, 2016 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with a celebration of Carolyn’s life that was held at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
