Obituary

Larry D. Chase, 80, of Franklin, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Chase was a resident of Franklin since 1971 and formerly resided in Minnesota.

Mr. Chase proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Before his retirement, he worked at F.M. Global in Norwood for many years.

Mr. Chase was a member of the Franklin Elks Club and the Millis AmVets Post #495. He enjoyed traveling with friends, golfing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Terri Ostrander and her husband Gregory of Bellingham and Michelle Chase-Baker and her husband Charles of Hanson, two grandchildren Chase and Calan Baker and his longtime companion Eleanor Heisler of Franklin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Tuesday, March 29 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 p.m.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 28 from 4 – 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
