Jorge Luis Duque-Banda, 29, of Tifton passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, in Macon County, Alabama. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., March 25, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Father Justin Ferguson officiating. Mr. Banda will be taken to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, where he will be laid to rest. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born April 15, 1986 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Mr. Banda was the son of Teodoro Duque and Ma Angelica Banda of Mexico. He was employed with Goyo Construction. He had lived in Tifton for eleven years. He was preceded in death by a son, Eduardo Cirilo Banda.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Banda is survived by his wife, Maria Nicole Gomez Banda of Tifton; two sons, Guillermo Banda and Jorge Luis Banda, Jr., both of Tifton; a daughter, Lilyana Banda of Tifton; five brothers, Eudardo Duque-Banda, Cirilo Duque-Banda, Alfredo Duque-Banda, Alexis Duque-Banda and Keven Duque-Banda, all of Mexico; and a sister, Mari-Cruz Duque-Banda of Mexico.
