Obituary

Brendan J. Daddario, 26, of Bourne, formerly of Medford, died on Saturday March 19th2016 at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. Brendan grew up in Medford until 2 years ago when he moved to Cape Cod.

Brendan was a very influential member in the recovery community where he helped numerous addicts change their lives through his powerful message of hope. Brendan would never hesitate to take someone in and show them how to find their way back to sobriety by loving others and being happy with themselves again. Brendan’s impact was evident during his last days as countless people showed up by his bedside to pray and tell stories to his family about how Brendan saved their lives. So many people came to give their support that the nursing staff had to ask some to leave because nobody could access the other rooms. One heartwarming story is about a person who was struggling with his recovery program because he was partially illiterate. Brendan not only sat down to help him read and understand the literature, but also helped him by writing down his thoughts on paper so Brendan could assist him in remembering them later by reading them to him.

Brendan is survived by both parents Anthony and Jane, his 3 brothers Anthony, Eric and Evan; his aunt Natalie and grandparents Robert and Joan Sullivan, as well as his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved soul-mate Chelsea Stenstrom.
