Mary Joanne (Fahey) Sullivan passed away peacefully in the company of her loving children on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Raised and educated in Boston, she had resided in Milton for the past 50 years. A retired Administrative Assistant of the Broadcasting Industry, Mrs. Sullivan was a Past President of the Milton Woman’s Club. The beloved wife of the late Gilbert E. Sullivan, she is survived by her devoted children; Joseph E. Sullivan & his wife Megan of Scituate, Gilbert J. Sullivan of ME, and Paula Hailer & her husband Gerard of Milton, her cherished grandchildren; Nicholas Hailer & his wife Nicole, Peter Hailer & Siobhan Sullivan, her dear sister Pauline Griffin & her husband Paul of Norton, and her loving nephew, 3 nieces & their children. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton, Wednesday at 10am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday 8:30 – 9:30am, prior to Mass. Burial in Milton Cemetery.
