On March 17, 2016 John “Jack” A. Loeffler, 93 passed away at the Presbyterian Home of MD where he resided the past 3 years. He was a graduate of Loyola College and WWII Army Air Force Veteran. Jack attended Airplane Mechanic School, he repaired B17 Bombers in London and was involved in 7 major battles. Jack was known as the human encyclopedia and he enjoyed puzzles and sports. Jack is predeceased by his sister Elva Eikenberg, Margaret Rinn and Mary Schlack, and survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
Services are private. Donations may be made in his name to Little Sisters of the Poor or the Salvation Army.
