Jennett R. (Schofield) Langley, age 86, passed away on March 15, 2016 at the Harbor House in Hingham. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Cooper and her husband Edward, of Marshfield, her sister, Shirley Carleton of Maine. Jennett also leaves her grandchildren, Nick Call and his wife Christine of CA and Jessica Cooper of Marshfield and her great granddaughter Caroline Call of CA and her nephews, Wade Carleton and Robert Serroni Jr. She is predeceased by her son Steven Langley, her sister, Gladys DiPerri, her niece Linda Serroni and her nephew, Brian Carleton.
Jennett was born and grew up in Worcester, was married in 1952 and bought a house in Holbrook then raised her son and daughter in Randolph before moving to Marshfield in 1985.
During her career she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Braintree Manor and attended Quincy Beauty Academy where she became a licensed hairdresser.
A Graveside Service will be at the Blue Hill Cemetery, in Braintree on Monday, April 4 at 1 PM, please gather at the cemetery office at 700 West St. across the street from the cemetery to follow to the grave.
