Hough and his wife Leigh of Winthrop and twins Karen M. Mauro and Erica A. Mauro both of Billerica. Adored grandfather of Eric D. Mauro, Amanda A. Hough, Aiden Hough, and Brandon, Kaylee and Ashley Almeida. Dear brother of Barbara J. Chicos and her husband Charles, Tricia M. Dooley and her husband William and Nancy L. Macomber and her husband Chris all of Winthrop. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Tues, March 22, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Mon from 4-8pm. Robert was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was an avid camper, and enjoyed many camp outings during the summer in Wells ME. Most importantly though, he was a family man, and taking care of his family was his number one priority.
