Tewksbury, Mass - Jeffrey Kaelin, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday March 14, 2016. Born in Lawrence, Ma, son of the Late Theodore G. Kaelin and Claire (Pettengill) Kaelin, Jeff grew up in Vernon, Connecticut and Lawrence, Mass. He attended Lawrence High School and loved being part of the hockey team. Jeff worked in several area restaurants and loved his yearly “ringing the bell” for the Salvation Army during the Christmas season. He enjoyed talking to everyone about the Bible and his travels. He traveled across the country over the last 40 years, enjoying amazing sites that God has created.
He is survived by his siblings; brother, Gregory Kaelin of Methuen, Ma, Theodore Kaelin of Methuen, Ma, Richard Kaelin of Atkinson, sisters; Maureen Kaelin of Salem, NH, Patricia and her husband Jack Mangini of Atkinson, NH, Rebecca Carter of Salem, NH, his aunt Marie Rodgers of Salem Ma, Brother-in-law Billy Carter of Lawrence Ma, niece Kimberly and her husband Jim Galipeau of Salem NH, nephews; Shaun Kaelin of Salem , NH, Kirk Kaelin of Hampton, NH, John Mangini of Boston, Ma, Josh Kaelin of Methuen, Ma., Michael Carter of Salem, NH, nieces; Kaelin Carter of Atkinson, NH, Justine Kaelin of Malden, Ma, and several grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
Jeff will be remembered for his wit, generosity and his strong faith in Jesus and his church and his love for his family.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Tewksbury Hospital, (Main Building) on Wednesday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m. followed by Committal Services at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
