Mr. Henry Krason, a longtime resident of Acton, MA and recent resident of Andover, MA passed away on Sunday, March 13th, 2016 at 87 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. He was born in New Britain, CT to Frank and Regina Krason. Henry attended RPI and Yale and settled for a brief time in Washington, DC where he met his wife, Irene (Paradis) Krason. Henry and Irene brought up their four children in Acton, MA. He was predeceased by his parents and wife Irene. He is survived by his children; David and his wife Feruza, Kathy and her husband Jeff, Carolyn and her husband Chris and Daniel and his wife Liz as well as his grandchildren; Jen, Steve, Candice, Max, Luke, Tate, Naomi, Josiah, Sammy, Noah and Leah.
Henry had a long successful career as an Electrical Engineer at Raytheon and Mitre. He continued to research alternative energy and enjoyed talking politics well into his retirement. He's remembered as a brilliant soft spoken man who would participate in any type of conversation. He touched many lives and was a true gentleman. He will be missed by family and friends.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Acton.
