Elaine (Hunt) Gervais 60, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Wednesday in Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of William Gervais. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Marmaud) Hunt. Elaine was an electronics assembler for SMX in Milford for many years before retiring in February due to illness. She enjoyed her family and spending time in Hawaii.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children; Jerry Lapierre of Woonsocket, Raymond Lapierre of Cumberland, and Tara Gervais of Pawtucket, five siblings; Chuck Hunt of Warwick, Marie Garneau of Hartland VT, Ruth Dawley of Charlestown, Patricia Duval of Woonsocket, and Peggy Hunt of Woonsocket, five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Rusty and Billy Hunt and Christine Cortis. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home and are private.
