In Easton, March 16, 2016 Dorothy (Torchio) Saracco Age 95, passed away in Southeast Rehab & Skilled Nursing in Easton following a period of failing health. Dorothy was the wife of the late Francis Saracco. She was born in Pittsfield, Ma, the daughter of the late Anthony & Josephine (Shelsey) Torchio. Dorothy has resided in Raynham since the 1950’s. She worked for Dr. Charles Grady as a dental assistant. Dorothy enjoyed traveling to Europe, playing bridge and cherished her time with family, especially her loving grandchildren. Dorothy leaves her children Elaine Scott and her husband Larry of Michigan, Mary-Ellen Amento of Connecticutt, Janet Durrigan and her husband Timothy of Raynham and her late son Dr. Francis Peter Saracco Jr. and his wife Patricia Saracco Lang of CA. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Torchio. Dorothy also leaves her grandchildren John Saracco, Elizabeth Saracco, Jordan Nicholas Amento, Sarah Amento, Elizabeth Durrigan Bennett and Matthew Durrigan and her five great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral home service at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Tuesday, March 22nd at 11 am. Visiting hours are prior to the service from 10-11 am. Burial will be in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham.
