FALL RIVER – Adeline (Benevides) Braga, age 95 of Fall River, passed away on March 17, 2016 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Francisco Braga Jr. and the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Caroline (Furtado) Benevides. Prior to retiring, Adeline worked as a Seamstress for Santoro Mfg. and previously for ACME Mfg., & Darwood Mfg. She was a past member of the Liberal Club Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Robert C. Braga (wife Melissa) of Fall River; grandchildren: Robert Braga Jr., Francisco, Matthew, Amanda, & Emily Braga; great grandchildren: Aryana, Mila, Nathan, & Corinne. She was the sister of the late Mary Costa-Luster, Anna Cruz, & Deolinda Sholar.
Her funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 6-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
