DALTON, Richard J. Sr., of Winthrop, on March 15, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Joanne (Frizzell) Dalton. Devoted father of Richard J. Dalton Jr. and his wife Laurie of Saugus and Robert J. Dalton and his wife Bettie of Winthrop. Adored grandfather of R.J. Dalton, Kirby and Kyleigh Dalton. Dear brother of Kenneth Dalton and Virginia Adreani, both of Winthrop and the late William, Warren, and Edward Dalton and the late Eleanor Silck. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Monday, March 21, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Sun, from 2-6pm. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus-Winthrop Council #162, the Pleasant Park Yacht Club, and a member of the American Assn. of Airport Executives.
