Mary Correa, age 97, of Fall River, passed away on March 13, 2016 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Mello) Correa. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and Bryant and Stratton School of Business Administration. Mary served her country during WWII with the U.S. Navy WAVES. Her career comprised of work within the U.S. Dept. of Defense and Abroad with the U.S. State Dept.
Mary leaves behind her brothers Antone and Everest Correa. She was predeceased by her sisters Dolores Wycislak, Ideanna Viveiros, Evelyn Doerpholz and brothers Herman Correa and Joseph Correa. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Mary wanted to extend her sincere thanks to her niece, Linda Francoeur, as well as the staff at Clifton Rehab, West I.
Her funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday at 10 A.M. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Friday morning 9-10 A.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
