Phyllis L. Waugh, 99, of Abington, died on March 12 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Waugh for 31 years.
She was born in Boston in 1917, daughter of Ernest and Eleanor (Starratt) Hearn.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weymouth for over 50 years. She enjoyed swimming, walking, birdwatching, reading and having a laugh with friends.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Peter Matthew, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be held on Thursday March 17th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hour will be held 1 hour prior to her service from 10:00AM - 11:00AM
