Obituary

HOLLISTON: Dennis A. Tetrault, age 64, of Holliston, formerly of Natick, died on Saturday morning, March 12, 2016, at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Boston, he was the youngest of the late Joseph E. and Mary A. (LeBlanc) Tetrault’s six children. Dennis was raised and educated in Natick, a graduate of Saint Patrick’s School and, in 1969, Natick High School. He continued his studies at Mass Bay Community College.

Dennis took an extended period of time after earning his Associate’s Degree, exploring areas near and far on his Harley. When he settled down, he knew that he wanted to be a part of the burgeoning high tech computer world. He earned a second Associate’s Degree from the Wentworth Institute of Technology and became employed with General Radio. After years of assembling computer circuit boards, Dennis began teaching new employees the work and became a quality control inspector. He later spent most of his time dealing with customer issues, troubleshooting and otherwise resolving problems. As Dennis gradually became disabled due to a genetic condition, the company did all it could to accommodate its “go to” man until he ultimately retired early in 2001. Ironically, a personal computer has been Dennis’ connection to the outside world for these many years of incapacity. He particularly enjoyed reading and following on-line trading. A generous and caring man, Dennis remained close to his large extended family.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Joseph E. Tetrault, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Canton, Rosemary E. Tetrault of Natick, Theresa Pratt and her husband Richard of Marlborough, Dorothy Pagucci of Natick, and Paul R. Tetrault, husband of the late Janet, of Jefferson; many much loved nieces, nephews, and their families; and numerous cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, on Thursday, March 17th at 10:00AM. Burial will be private.

Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Wednesday 4 – 7PM. Donations may be made in Dennis’ memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101, or the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
