Kathleen A. ”Kathie” (Zinck) Clifford, age 68 of Whitman, died Friday March 11, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. Kathleen was born in Jamaica Plain and raised in Braintree. She was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Coughlin) Zinck. A graduate of Ursaline Academy in Dedham, Kathie also received an associate’s degree from Curry College. For many years she worked with City Year in Boston as the Director of Payroll.
In her free time, Kathie enjoyed knitting, reading, listening to music and following restaurant critiques. She will be remembered as a strong, independent and very loyal woman with a witty sense of humor. Most importantly, Kathie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Kathie was the mother of Kimberly Robbins and her husband Michael of Middleboro, Kerrin Innocenzi of Taunton and Robert W. Clifford, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Brockton. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Kristina and Franco Innocenzi, Zachary and Emma Clifford and Jacob Robbins. Kathie also leaves behind her sister Geraldine Gelhar of Beaverton, OR.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton on Tuesday 4-7 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 am followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
