Winifred C. Faria, age 80, of Somerset, passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George Faria, and daughter of the late John and Winifred (Healey) Hiatt. Winifred was a cashier at Stop & Shop, enjoyed painting, playing Canasta and Mahjong and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandkids.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Linda Ogle (husband John), Joseph Faria (wife Linda), and Jeff Faria (wife Lisa), siblings: Rose Correia and John Hiatt, grandchildren: Ben, Jake, Lindsay, and Luke Faria. She was also the sister of the late Cecelia Farias, Rita Ferreira, and Richard Hiatt.
Her funeral will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday at 8 A.M. with a funeral service at 9:00 A.M.
