Brian G. Stapleton, 56, of Medway, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Pamela J. (Donahue) Stapleton since 1998 and the loving father of Kyle John Stapleton of Medway.
Born in Newton on November 21, 1959, he was the son of Dennis J. Stapleton of Dorchester and the late Mary T. (Spillane) Stapleton.
He is also survived by four brothers, Dennis Stapleton of Quincy, Kevin and Sean Stapleton, both of Weymouth and David Stapleton of Methuen, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Chloe.
Brian was a resident of Medway for the past 17 years and had previously resided in Dorchester.
He graduated from the former Don Bosco Technical High School and UMass-Boston and worked in sales for many years.
Brian was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed vacationing in Naples, Florida with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Thursday, March 17 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Brian’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
