Doris A. O’Connor age 86 of Canton passed away in her lovely home March 10th surrounded by her loving family. Born in S. Boston, she was raised in S. Boston and Dorchester and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She worked as an Executive Confidential Secretary for Boston Edison for 40 years before retiring. She was a 37 year resident of Canton and a devout Catholic who was a faithful parishioner of St. Gerard Majella and St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton and St. Anne’s Church in Marshfield. She enjoyed spending time with her family at her home in the Brant Rock section Marshfield. She loved her family, her faith, babies and having a good time. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (O’Toole) O’Connor. Sister of the late Florence Williams, Joseph O’Connor, Leo O’Connor, Marion Corrao, Tess O’Hare, William O’Connor and Lorraine Stock. She was the proud matriarch of 5 generations and the loving aunt to the Beaudoin, Doucet, Iavello, Leech, Maillet, Olson, Spoehr, Stock and Williams Families. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10:00.
