Snider, Jeannine (Schreiber), 83, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Georgia Schreiber.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Doyal Snider. She was a much loved wife and mother of their three children, Pamela Beams, Cynthia Gardner (Glenn) & Karen Perdue (John). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jillian Gardner, Mitch Gardner, Leigh Ann Perdue, Jessica Beams and a great granddaughter, Hali all of whom loved their Neannie.
She was a 1954 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy where she met her husband. She was an active member of Briargate Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and as an Elder. She was also a volunteer for TWIGS, an auxiliary of Norton Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Briargate Presbyterian Church 2100 Upper Hunters Trace with a private burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her church or WHAS Crusade for Children.
