William C. Rhodes, 84, of Westport died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Southpointe Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center. He was husband of the late Myrtle I (Wood) Rhodes.
Born in Elizabeth City, NC, son of the late Daniel and Parthenia (Key) Rhodes, he had lived in Westport for over 30 years. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served his country in the United States Navy. An avid golfer, Mr. Rhodes enjoyed staying busy fixing things. He loved his 2 great nieces: Stacey and Courtney.
Survivors include his granddaughter: Allison Rhodes; and his nephew: Robert B. Wood and his wife Janet. He was father of the late Barry C. Rhodes.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
