Jane C. (Zimarowski) Fulton, age 92 formerly of Brockton, died Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the Bayberry House in Hyannis after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of the late Edgar D. Fulton, Sr. for 57 years. Jane was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Zigmont and Jane (Anzakowski) Zimarowski and had lived in Brockton for most of her life.
A 1941 graduate of Brockton High School, Jane also attended the Fashion Institute in Boston. Before her marriage she owned the Jane Cornell Dress Shop in downtown Brockton. In 1954 she and her husband founded the Edgar D. Fulton Real Estate Agency in Brockton. She also had dabbled in collecting antiques.
Jane was a member and former president of the Brockton Garden Club, a member of the Cape Cod and South Shore Doll Clubs and the Yesteryears Doll Study Association. She had also been a member of the board of realtors.
In her free time, Jane enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Jane was the mother of Nina Fulton-Tolken and her husband Robert F. Tolken, Jr and the late Edgar D. Fulton, Jr. She leaves two grandchildren Samantha Jane Tolken and Robert Fulton Tolken. She was the sister of William Zimarowski and his wife Lorraine and the late John and Paul Zimarowski.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday 9:30-11 am with a service at 11. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
