Anne M. Balfe age 86 of Milton passed away March 8th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Milton, she was a lifelong resident of Milton and graduated from Milton High School and Northeastern University. She was an active member and CCD teacher at St. Elizabeth’s Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Milton and at the Mass Hospital School in Canton. Beloved wife of Joseph L. Mother of Katie Sullivan of Andover, Dennis Balfe of Norfolk, Joanne DeConto of Pocasset, Patrick Balfe of Holbrook, Michael Balfe of Mansfield and John Balfe of Wrentham. Sister of the late Brian, William and Robert Crowley. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church Milton Saturday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Saturday morning prior to the mass from 8:00 to 9:30 am. Burial Milton Cemetery.
