Margaret Anne (Charade) Fredette, 80, of Dartmouth died Saturday March 5, 2016 at home. She was the wife of the late Attorney L. Barry Tinkoff.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Joseph Edmund Charade and Mary J. (Martin) Charade, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Angela's Academy in Montreal.
Margaret was formerly employed by New England Telephone Company until her retirement.
She was a former member of the Dartmouth Women's Club.
Survivors include three children, Thomas E. Fredette of Boston, Sharon Marie Cabral and her husband David of Westport, and Andrew J. Fredette of New York; her daughter-in-law, Rosa Fredette of Dartmouth; her sister, Mary Frances Caravana of New Bedford; six grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Dorothea Ryan and her former husband Thomas E. Fredette.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 at 2 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, with visitation from 1-2 PM prior to the service. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
