Obituary

died March 6, 2016 at the age of 69. Tom was born on July 29, 1946 in
Louisville, KY, where he was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and attended Shawnee High School. Tom enlisted in the US Air Force, serving in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He returned to Louisville, pursuing his profession as a glazer. He worked for several companies before founding
Redmon Glass Service. He later moved to Indianapolis where he spent the remainder of his life. Tom was happiest spending time outdoors. He loved fishing, boating, and hunting. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic, and his ability to ‘MacGyver’ anything.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Urban and Corrine Redmon.
He is survived by his significant other of the last 15 years, Sandy Raisor and his children,Tracy (Steve) and Brian (Kendall) and grandson, Gunner.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 am to 12 pm at Owen Funeral Home in Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. There will be a service following at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Healing Place,1030 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
