In Taunton, March 6, 2016 Anna M. Dory, Age 54, “graced the earth one last time” prior to laying for her final rest in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Anna, the daughter of the late Lawrence & Gertrude (Wrightinton) Dory. Anna enjoyed her childhood in Middleboro, prior to spending the rest of her colorful days in Taunton to raise her beautiful family. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and above all cherished her family and friends. As a one of a kind genuine soul; providing all that there was for those that she loved, naturally causing her friends to smile and balancing bingo and keeping this endless family together in her leisure time were just a few of her passions aside from thoroughly enlightening the world. Anna is survived by her children Jerome, Derek, Desiree, Nicole, Monique Silva all of Taunton and Vanessa Fisk of Taunton and the late Nadine Silva and Marcus Dory. She also leaves her siblings Lawrence Dory of Taunton, Margaret Rose of Taunton, Kevin Dory of Carver and Joanne Dory of Taunton. Anna also leaves her loving nine grandchildren. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, Ma 02780 on Saturday, March 12th at 9:30am. Church service will be at Grace Gospel Church in Somerset at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday from 5-8pm. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
