ANDERSON--Marla Dietzen, 65, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on 3-3-2016 at Waters Edge nursing home in Muncie, Indiana.
She was born February 11, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana
Marla was a 1969 graduate of Madison Heights High School and attended Arizona State University to play golf.
Marla earned several honors and awards in her amateur golfing years, including the Indiana girls state championship and medalist honors throughout the Midwest Region.
Marla is survived by her mother, Joyce Jones, brother, Rob Jones, sister, Lisa (Dietzen) Perry, niece, Adrienne Jones, nephew, Stephen R. Jones (wife, Sara) great-nieces, Addison & Ella Jones.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter C. Dietzen and step-father Robert E Jones.
A private service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery. Any memorial contributions can be made to Madison County Community Foundation "Jimmy's Fund" Special Olympic Golf, 33W 10th St, Suite 600, Anderson, Indiana 46016
