Jose M. Aguiar, 77, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He was the husband of Guilhermina (Rego) Aguiar and son of the late Antonio M. and Maria I. (Fonseca) Aguiar.
Survivors along with his wife include his 2 sons: Joseph Aguiar of Westport and John Aguiar of Fall River; his daughter: Rosemarie Leroux of W. Wareham; 5 brothers: Jesse F. Aguiar, John F. Aguiar, Cesar F. Aguiar, Guilhermo Aguiar, all of MA and Gilbert F. Aguair of FL; 1 sister: Maria Medeiros of MA; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Antonio Aguiar.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
