Lena (Santos) Perry, 99, of Westport, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Perry, to whom she was married for 57 years.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joao C. and Maria (Conceicao) Santos, she resided in Somerset before moving to Westport in 1997. Prior to her retirement in 1959 she worked as an assembler at Firestone Rubber, Co. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Club-Brotherhood of Charity in Rehoboth, the Somerset Seniors Club and a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. Mrs. Perry enjoyed cooking and baking, crochet, bingo and taking trips to the casinos. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son: Kenneth J. Perry of Somerset; her daughter: Elaine M. Alves and her husband Richard of Westport; daughter-in-law: Patricia Perry of TX; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Robert J. Perry and was predeceased by 7 siblings.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00A.M.

Interment will be private.
