BRADFORD: Eva (Pastis) Lucas, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William V. “Bill” Lucas who died in 2010.
Born in Icaria, Greece on March 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Angela (Binikou) Pastis. Eva was a resident of Bradford many years.
Eva is survived by her three children and their spouses, Charles P. and Linda Lucas, Barbara L. and Dennis Brown all of York, ME and William P. Lucas of Laurel, MD; six grandchildren, Greg and his wife Karen Brown, Alyssa Brown, Christopher and Ashley Lucas and Billy and Diana Lucas and a great-granddaughter, Anna Brown.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday in the Holy Apostles Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter Street, Haverhill at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill from 5 – 7 p.m. Interment will be held in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Eva’s memory to the Ahepa Chapter 39, 20 Buttonwoods Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830 or to the Holy Apostles Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
