Timothy "Tim" Leonard Blockson
October 1, 1951- March 3, 2016
Timothy Leonard Blockson, 64, of Anderson passed away on March 3, 2016 at his residence following extended illnesses.
He was born on October 1, 1951 in Anderson to Leonard and Ann (Coomer) Blockson.
He worked in production at GM-Delphi for 32 years and retired on July 1, 2005.
He was a member of the UAW 662. He loved woodworking, fishing, NASCAR, the Cubs, and cooking. He enjoyed farming, mowing his yard with his John Deere tractor, and creating a garden on his family homestead. He was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa R. Blockson whom he married on December 28, 1984; his children, Kimberly (Dan) Clark; his grandchildren, Evan Coale, Riley Griffin, Sydney Clark, and Savannah Clark; a brother, Greg Blockson; In-laws, Dick and Pat Robinson; Sister-in-law, Tonia (Jay) Whitehouse; nieces, Hannah Whitehouse and Dana (Gary) Wright; nephew, Ross (Georgie) Eldridge; great-nephews, Tyler Eldridge, Garrett Eldridge, Lucas Wright, and Gavin Wright; a great-niece, Kate Wright; brother-in-law Elmer (Peggy) Eldridge; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ann Blockson; daughter, Ann (Libby) Blockson, and Sister, Penny Eldridge.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the funeral arrangements.
