CUMMINGS, Thomas F. “T.C.” of Milton, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016 at the age of 81. Born in Bornacurra Ballygar Co. Galway on January 31, 1935. Immigrated to America January 1958. Joined the U.S. Army in 1959. Worked for Verizon for 34 years retired in 1997. Host and director of the oldest running Irish hour in Boston WUNR 1600 AM Thur. 8-10pm with his wife Shelia Lordan Cummings. Loving husband of Shelia. Brother of John and his wife Catherine of Stoughton, Patrick Kilcummons of Ballygar Co. Galway, Mary Finneran of Milton, Peg Martyn of E. Bridgewater, and the late Michael, Mathew, and Laurence. Brother-in-law of Noreen Cummings of Milton and Elizabeth Cummings of Kingston. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in the USA, Ireland, and England, many good friends and neighbors. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, March 8th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Agatha Church, Adams St. at Brook Rd. Milton, at 10:30am. Visiting hours Monday 3-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of T.C. to a charity of your choice.
