Joseph M. Krosoczka, 64, of Spencer, died Monday, February 29th in UMass-Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness, with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane M. (Badrigian) Krosoczka; his brother, Stephen A. Krosoczka and his wife, Melissa of Paxton; three sisters, Leslie A. Krosoczka of Worcester, Lynn A. Boyle and her husband, Michael of Uxbridge and Holly A. O'Neil and her husband, Brian of Worcester; several nephews and nieces and his long time friends, Barry and Paula Clapp.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Joseph D. and Shirley R. (OLson) Krosoczka. Mr. Krosoczka had served as president and CEO of Sem-Tec Incorporated, a company started by his father, for over 40 years. Joe loved and looked forward to his yearly get-away with his wife to Key West. On weekends he loved to relax watching sports and mastering the art of cooking. His other pastimes included fishing and gardening. Joe was a man of few words, yet his heart spoke volumes. He never failed stepping up to the plate in his personal or professional life...well respected and a true leader of men. He will surely be missed by all, but especially by those near and dear to his heart.
His funeral is Tuesday, March 8th with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held, Monday, March 7th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
