Austin G. Anderson, 89, of Anderson died February 29, 2016 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
He was born June 30, 1926 in Waterford, Ontario, Canada to Stuart and Evelyn Anderson.
He retired in 1997 from Guide Lamp after 44 years of service in the tool room.
He was a member of Madison Park Church of God.
He was a builder with his friend, Nick, delivered many Indianapolis paper routes; He owned a popular restaurant on Nursery Road near Anderson College during the 50's & 60's.
He is survived by his three siblings, Marvin (Mary Lou) Anderson of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Marilyn Anderson (Philip) Drake of Elk Grove, CA, Stuart Anderson of Crystal River, FL; many close special friends, Dustin Nickelson, Charlene Meier, Vaughn Stafford, Rob Sorrell, Brian York, Dr. Troy Abbott, Adam Sanders, Toby Johnson, Stephen Chen, Johnny Cai, Joe Royer and many others.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Beverley C. and Lawrence Anderson.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Vaughn Stafford and Rev. Luz Sorrell officiating.
Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison Park Church of God.
